Salix Group acquires Sweja Industriförnödenheter.
Volati has acquired all shares in the packaging company Sweja Industriförnödenheter AB. This is an add-on acquisition for the Salix Group business area. With T-Emballage’s existing operations, the acquisition strengthens Salix Group’s position in the Swedish packaging market. Sweja reported annual sales of approximately SEK 96 million in 2022.
Sweja is a Swedish family company, founded in 1977 and headquartered in Malmö. The company offers packaging and machine solutions to Swedish industry, with a focus on the tape and stretch film segment. Alongside T-Emballage’s operations, the Sweja acquisition gives Salix Group a broader product and service offering, creating the conditions for continuing growth.

Growth through acquisitions is an important part of Volati’s strategy to create long-term value growth. The ambition is to develop the Company’s businesses into larger and stronger platforms through organic growth, operational improvements and add-on acquisitions, both in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe.
The acquisition has been financed through Volati’s existing credit facilities, with immediate access to the shares.
